Pleasant Grounds The beautiful grounds surrounding the windmill feature mature trees with well-kept lawns.  The peaceful setting  makes it an ideal spot for a quiet afternoon tea, or a  refreshing morning coffee. Our Tea Room extends into the grounds during the  warmer weather, and our delicious cakes and produce  can be enjoyed outside, whilst watching the butterflies and listening to the bumblebees working on the lavenders. Whilst our grounds are not designed for letting children play unsupervised, many families have enjoyed their stay playing with our dog, or watching the sheep in the neighbouring  paddock. Please note that Tuxford Windmill is privately owned and only food and drinks purchased from our Tea Room are allowed to be consumed on site.
